Paris Hilton presents her little daughter London
Last November, US reality star Paris Hilton announced the birth of her daughter - now the 43-year-old has publicly presented the little girl, named London Marilyn Hilton-Reum, in photos for the first time.
The mother of two posted several family photos in the countryside on Instagram on Friday.
"Grateful that she's here"
"I've dreamed of having a daughter named London for as long as I can remember," Hilton wrote in a lengthy message. "I'm so grateful she's here".
The baby is dressed all in dusky pink, with a big bow on her head. Son Phoenix (1) and husband Carter Reum (43) can also be seen. The couple both became parents via surrogacy.
Profound love
Through her two little angels, she has experienced a profound love, enthuses Hilton.
Her "incredible journey through motherhood" inspired her to write a song, which she recorded with her friend, singer Sia. The song "Fame Won't Love You" reminds her that the bond with her family is the most precious thing of all.
Fear of the birth
The fact that Hilton and her husband opted for surrogate mothers and will continue to do so for any future children is due to her fear of natural childbirth. Hilton explained this in interviews.
She has suffered from a severe phobia of doctors since her bad experiences as a teenager at a boarding school for difficult teenagers: "I'm terrified of doctors after what they did to me at boarding school."
