It's going to be an experience! The "Krone" is giving away a table at the Radio U1 Gauder Fest kick-off with stars like Nik P., Petra Frey and the Ursprung Buam. Let us know by Wednesday (April 24) why you want to be there!

Not only the Zillertal is eagerly awaiting the Gauder Fest, which traditionally brings Zell am Ziller to life on the first weekend in May. The festival tent kicks off on Thursday (May 2) with a bang - at the Radio U1 Gauder Fest prelude. Musical highlights include Nik P., Petra Frey, the Ursprung Buam, the Thierseer, the Fetzig'n and the Halodris from the Zillertal.

Why do you want to be there?

A long weekend with many highlights
The official opening ceremony for the Gauder Fest takes place on Friday when LH Anton Mattle taps the first barrel. Afterwards, the Gambrinus speech provides a satirical review of the past (political) year.

On Gauder Saturday, the Trachtler youth make their grand entrance, while the brown cattle exhibition with the "Miss Gauder" competition is another magnet.

"Tiroler Krone" presents Ranggeln for the "Hogmoar"
Strong guys also call the shots on the sports field on Saturday (12 noon, finals from 5 pm). There will be wrestling for the "Gauder Hogmoar" - presented by the "Krone"! On Sunday, a field mass (10 a.m.) and the parade (11.30 a.m.) round off the major event.
