What happened there? Germany's most successful fitness influencer is suddenly sitting at the checkout of a drugstore chain. Is the online gym boom over?
Of course not! Fitness queen Pamela Reif has just sat down at the checkout for a good cause.
"Would hire them immediately"
In a brand new branch of a well-known drugstore chain in Waldbronn, the influencer worked diligently for an hour on Saturday.
The result? A whole 5000 euros for charity! Philipp Herz, who manages the store, could hardly believe his luck: "We'd hire her straight away," he enthuses.

And who was in the queue? Of course, fans and especially the young ones who were desperate to get a selfie with the fitness goddess.
Pamela, who usually enjoys the sun in Ibiza and rocks the internet with her workout videos, took plenty of time for her fans. After an hour at the cash desk, the Karlsruhe native thanked the organizers warmly: "It was so much fun!"
Incidentally, the money goes directly to the children's and youth work of the community near Karlsruhe. Thumbs up for that!
Mission accomplished
But wait a minute, wasn't the whole thing also a clever move for Pamela's business? The 27-year-old had already announced the campaign on her Instagram account a few days ago and hoped that her products would be diligently purchased.
After all, she not only has a range of hair care products and lots of fitness snacks on offer, but also a good portion of publicity in her luggage. One can only say: mission accomplished!
