“Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks has said yes

Christina Hendricks has said yes. The "Mad Men" beauty married her sweetheart George Bianchi in a "sexy" ceremony in New Orleans at the weekend. According to the report, Hendricks and Bianchini have been a couple since 2020 and got engaged in February 2023.

As Hendricks revealed to People magazine, she and her newlywed husband have a special connection to New Orleans. "New Orleans was a place I always loved to visit before I met George, and a place he loved to visit before he met me," she explained. "And when we started dating, it was the place in the middle because we each lived on the other side of the country."

Adding, "It just feels like a shared city, even though we both really liked it individually."

Second wedding for Hendricks
The actress, who played office manager Joan Holloway in the TV series "Mad Men" (2007-2015), split from her then-husband Geoffrey Arend in 2019 after a twelve-year relationship.

In an interview with People, she spoke about her concerns about making a wedding vow again - "when you've been married before and it was so hard and didn't work out and you feel like: 'Oh my God, this is very scary'."

However, she and her now new husband Bianchini are "both romantics", which is why they decided to have the ceremony in front of friends and family. There's "something romantic about that promise, there's something celebratory about it, and there's also something about it that makes you feel different," Hendricks told the magazine. "There's something that says: 'You're not going anywhere and I'm not going anywhere'."

"Sexy" wedding in New Orleans
Hendricks and Bianchini celebrated for three days in New Orleans. The wedding ceremony took place at Napoleon House. According to Hendricks, she wanted a "gothic, atmospheric and sexy" wedding with lots of flowers and decorations in plum, blush and chocolate tones. "George and I are both former goths, which appeals to us," laughed the actress.

Her wedding dress came from Katya Katya. Hendricks revealed that she cried when she first tried on the dress "because it was so beautiful". She also wore a cocktail dress by Christian Siriano, the 48-year-old revealed. It was a "red carpet moment" that "didn't take place on the red carpet", enthused Hendricks.

Her wedding guests included "Mad Men" creator Matt Weiner and actresses Retta and Mae Whitman, Hendricks' series colleagues from the drama series "Good Girls" (2018-2021).
