Is someone jealous? Probably subtle at best. But Kelly Piquet was worth an Insta comment about the latest social media activity of her heartthrob Max Verstappen.

Verstappen, winner of the China Grand Prix, and Lando Norris, runner-up, sent greetings to the world from the plane, presumably Verstappen's private jet. Apparently, the two racers treated themselves to a flight together on the journey home from China. Two visibly cheerful young men, each with a broad smile on the jet. Kelly Piquet, Verstappen's lady love, gets wind of it. And comments under the photo: "Lando, you're sitting in my seat!" A cracking comment, users comment, like, reply. Successful gag. Genuine jealousy? Hardly.

Trip to Miami?
Next time Kelly will surely be allowed to sit next to her Max in her usual seat. Perhaps as early as the weekend after next. That's when the Formula 1 circus stops off in Miami. Her partner Max Verstappen will once again be the top favorite there.

"Fantastic"
Especially since the series world champion once again drove the competition into the ground in Shanghai. "It felt fantastic, we were very fast all weekend. It's fun and everything went like clockwork," said the Dutchman, who had a lead of almost 14 seconds at the end. And his buddy Norris, perhaps the man of the race as runner-up, was also over the moon. "I'm surprised and so happy for the whole team," said the Briton.

In the championship standings, Verstappen (110 points) extended his lead over Perez (85) to 25 points with his 58th GP victory. They are followed by the two Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc (76) and Carlos Sainz (69), who finished fourth and fifth respectively. In two weeks' time, the premier class of motorsport will make a guest appearance in Miami before heading to Europe for the first time in the record 24-race season.
