Carys celebrated her 21st in her mother Zeta-Jones’ dress
It wasn't just the good genes that were passed on: Carys Zeta-Douglas celebrated her 21st birthday these days - and slipped into a very special dress for the occasion. The dress once belonged to her famous mother Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Carys has now shared a series of pictures of her birthday party at the weekend on Instagram. The daughter of Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas turned a sweet 21 on Saturday.
Carys celebrated in her mom's dress
And the outfit Carys chose for her party was not only something very special, but also older than herself. 25 years ago, her mother Catherine Zeta-Jones had worn the dress for an appearance at the MTV Movie Awards.
The Hollywood beauty posted a photo of it on her Instagram profile around two years ago.

And the comparison makes it clear: the pink slip dress by Ungaro with lace inserts and glittering roses not only fits Carys perfectly, it also makes the daughter look like a copy of her beautiful mother.
It was the "most perfect 21st I could wish for", gushed Carys about the photos on Instagram. And proud mom Catherine immediately replied with the words: "You deserve it, sweetheart."
Douglas was mistaken for Carys' grandpa
Only now has Michael Douglas revealed to the Telegraph that he had visited daughter Carys on her university's parents' day and that there had been an embarrassing mix-up.
The Hollywood star was stopped at the entrance because he was mistaken for his daughter's grandfather. "I was told, 'Sorry, it's not grandparents' day, it's parents' day! To which I then said 'I'm a parent!"
