The underwater shoot is coming up and this is causing some GNTM candidates to panic. The additional challenge: the models are shooting in pairs and are supposed to portray a romantic scene. Tears and arguments are practically pre-programmed ...

Long wedding dresses and chic suits, white and pink bridal bouquets, tulle veils and rings. That can only mean one thing - the wedding bells are ringing on "GNTM"!

And in a very special place: In a water tank with the look of a small chapel.

Models reach their limits under water
The shoot is a great challenge in two respects: firstly, the models must not run out of air under water and secondly, a romantic sizzle must be felt. Holding your breath and staying underwater for as long as possible? Probably more difficult than expected for some candidates.

Marvin says: "I think the biggest challenge under water is simply controlling your breathing". Mare panics during the shoot: "I can't hold my breath! I can't breathe."

Heidi wants to "see love and emotions"
Who says yes to whom? The models decide for themselves. The most important thing: it should sizzle. Heidi Klum wants to capture real emotions: "We want to see love, hearts in the eyes, a wedding!"

Frieder is happy about the task: "I think it's cool that Heidi wants a sizzle, because that's a challenge for many people, whether they're taken or single."

The realization of the theme is entirely up to the models themselves: From holding hands to movie kisses to proposals, anything is possible, the main thing is to be romantic. "Just try to add a little more intimacy. Let us believe that you are a couple," advises star photographer Russell James.
