On Sunday, 800 emergency services in Germany are to search for missing Arian from Bremervörde-Elm in Lower Saxony. The little autistic boy has been missing since Monday evening. The boy's parents are hoping for a reunion soon and published an emotional letter: "We believe that Arian has set off to experience a great adventure."

In a Facebook post (see below), the boy's parents published emotional words - and asked for support: "If you have surveillance cameras, we ask you to check these recordings regularly. Maybe you see Arian ...", it says.

Residents in the surrounding area are urged to look for the boy "in woods, under trees, in piles of leaves or at building sites". Drivers are asked to drive "slowly and carefully" and to keep an eye out for the six-year-old in the area.

Balloons, sweets and drinking bottles distributed
Arian is an "athletic, clever little boy with fantastic instincts". But "he probably won't make himself known (...), we have to look for him together". The reason: the child, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome, does not respond when his name is called. The parents had distributed "balloons, sweets and drinking bottles" in the area to attract the boy.

Search continues with increased efforts
The search for the boy is now continuing feverishly. 800 helpers will be in action on Sunday, many of them forming a search chain. Ten drones are to take off. On Sunday night, the emergency services again used the so-called silent strategy to search for Arian. According to the police, this had been agreed with an autism expert. Previously, loud music was played or fireworks were set off, among other things, because the boy likes this.

Great concern: wolves are native to the area
A police spokesman said that there were no indications of a criminal case. The spokesman ruled out a possible wolf attack - there are wolves in the area. A wolf consultant for the district of Rotenburg also considers this unlikely. Danger only exists in special cases, for example if an animal feels attacked. Nevertheless, the parents are worried that Arian could have wandered into the area.
