Lugner counters “bad words” about love for Simone

Richard Lugner wants to do it again: On June 1, the society builder says yes to his "little bee" Simone Reiländer. But before the wedding, there are not only congratulations, but also criticism because of the big age difference between the groom-to-be and his love. Mörtel is now fighting back against this.

A few weeks before Richard Lugner's big day, the sky was supposed to be full of violins, but the wedding to his "little bee" is overshadowed by mean comments. And Mörtel doesn't want to take this lying down, as he revealed to "Krone" on Sunday.

Lugner defends himself against "nasty words"
"There are bad words about Simone, 42, and me, 91", said the Opernball zampano. So there are 49 years between Lugner and his future wife, which has certainly caused speculation online in recent weeks.

But Lugner has now justified himself by saying that each of his relationships brings "financial benefits for the partner": "To prevent that, I would have to continue living alone and I don't want that, so we got together."

"We both understand each other!"
Incidentally, the love for his "little bee" cannot be compared to the relationship with his ex-wife number five, Cathy Lugner, continued the society builder. Because "Spatzi" had been "qualified as not suitable" by astrologer Gerda Rogers, whereas Simone was "ideally suited". 

"That's true", Lugner continues, because: "We go out together. She looks after my overgrown garden, she grows organic vegetables. Later she will work in Lugner City."

After all, his fiancée has "years of retail experience and is currently deputy branch manager" at a large DIY store in Krems. "She can certainly take the pressure off me," said Mörtel happily. "We both understand each other and that's the most important thing!"
