Meghan stays at home
Prince Harry plans a visit to the old country
Prince Harry (39) is returning to the UK for a visit in May for the first time in months. This was announced by the organizers of the Invictus Games - the sports competition launched by Harry for soldiers injured in action.
Harry will take part in a thanksgiving service to mark the tenth anniversary of the Games at St. Paul's Cathedral in London on May 8, according to a message on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.
Harry will probably come without Meghan
Meanwhile, it seems unlikely that Harry will be accompanied by his wife Meghan, with whom the prince has been living in California since leaving the inner circle of the British royal family.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the Duchess will probably remain in the USA with their children Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2). Probably also because Archie celebrates his 5th birthday on May 6.
Harry moved his residence to the USA
It was recently announced that Harry had also officially moved his primary residence to the USA - a move that was seen by the British media as a final departure from his old home.
Relations with the other royals are still considered to be strained. It is therefore questionable whether Harry's visit to the old country will result in a meeting with King Charles or Prince William and Princess Kate.
Lightning visit to Charles
As far as is known, Harry last traveled to his old homeland in February of this year after his father King Charles III (75) was diagnosed with cancer. The two are said to have met for a brief personal conversation. According to reports, Harry returned to the USA immediately afterwards.
