Rapid supporters?
Soccer fans beat up a Lower Austrian in his car
A young Lower Austrian will not soon forget his Sunday trip to McDonald's near Ybbs. Rapid fans are said to have kicked the 19-year-old's car and punched him in the face.
"I find that sad, it's madness!" The day after, the 19-year-old's father is still upset. Sunday evening, at around 6.30 pm, his son had just been in his car at a traffic circle in Kemmelbach, Lower Austria, he told the newspaper "Krone". A gray bus with Viennese license plates blocked the way - 15 Rapid fans are said to have jumped out of it.
Bursch punched victim in the face
Without warning, the strangers are said to have kicked and punched the Scheibbser's car. The 19-year-old rolled down the window and complained loudly about the incomprehensible and aggressive behavior. Whereupon - as the father tells the "Krone" - a blond boy in a red T-shirt reached into the car, grabbed his son and hit him in the face with his fist. Only when the victim threatened to call the police did the mob leave him and his car.
So far, no one from the club has responded to my complaint.

Was the Rapid defeat the trigger for the aggression?
The Lower Austrian still had pain in his face on Monday. In the afternoon, the damage to the car was to be assessed again and perhaps taken to a doctor. A police report, which was not filed in the initial shock, will also follow.
The dad is horrified: "Just because the club has just lost 0:5 (Rapid lost to LASK in Linz on Sunday afternoon, editor's note), you can't behave like that!" At the request of the "Krone", SK Rapid distanced itself from any violence. They had no prior knowledge of the incident.
