After interview ban
TV journalist Hans Bürger allegedly “Dancing Star”
When the ORF ballroom reopens for celebrities in spring 2025, a well-known TV journalist will probably be there.
As the "Krone" was informed on Thursday, the Austrian state broadcaster has signed up its 61-year-old EU and domestic policy expert Hans Bürger for the popular dance show - although this is still being kept under wraps for the time being.
Nevertheless, ORF seems to have pulled off a rather spectacular coup. As reported, the long-time "ZiB" journalist Bürger was recently given an unofficial interview ban and was quietly and secretly dismissed ...
In any case, Bürger was a "hot potato" for a while and could now ensure good ratings.
And what does the ORF say? "As long as no contracts have been signed, we are not involved in name-dropping, but we see it as a good sign for the continuing appeal of the format that there is already speculation about who could be on 'Dancing Stars' in 2025."
The 16th season of "Dancing Stars" is set to go on air in March 2025 and will once again allow viewers to watch well-known and lesser-known stars from sport, art, culture or an in-house editorial team being made to sweat by professional dancers.
"Außa mit de Depf" pop star Hannah
According to rumors, TV chef Andi Wojta and actress Julia Cencig will also be dancing alongside Bürger. However, Vera Russwurm is said to have turned down an offer.
Of course, it is already certain that the winner of the "Dancing Stars" casting show, in which ORF, as announced, wants to breed its own star in the fall, will be part of the show.
Instead, "Walking on Sunshine" star Aaron Karl wants to be there. "Außa mit de Depf" pop star Hannah has also been mentioned as a possible candidate.
