Klagenfurt-Sturm is just a breeze at the moment

Austria Klagenfurt now only have a mini-chance of reaching Europe! Recently, Violett has not really been lucky, as evidenced by three shots on target. Unfortunately, the strikers are not in good shape either. Nevertheless, they are dreaming of a big coup in Graz on Sunday.

Klagenfurt only have a mini-chance in the battle for Europe in the final round on Sunday! The reasons? A recent lack of luck, as evidenced by two shots on target against LASK (0:2) and one against Rapid (0:1). "The two defeats were extremely painful. We're investing so much at the moment, but nothing tangible is coming out of it," says Christopher Cvetko.

Only eleven goals
That's certainly true. But the Violet attack was also just a breeze in the spring. In the nine games in the championship round, Klagenfurt scored a meagre eleven goals - of which only Jonas Arweiler scored once from the strikers. The rest were scored by midfielders Andy Irving (6) and Max Besuschkow (2) plus defender Kosmas Gkezos (1) and winger Solomon Bonnah (1). Bomber Sinan Karweina, who scored ten times in the fall, came away empty-handed - as did Sebastian Soto, Anton Maglica, Florian Jaritz and Sky Schwarz.

"It's not over yet"
"Players who get a chance should also deliver - unfortunately that didn't happen," says coach Peter Pacult succinctly. Managing director Peer Jaekel: "The grapes naturally hang higher in the championship round, everything has to fit together. But unfortunately we've also lost a bit of momentum. But it's not over yet. Even if the opponent in the last match is Sturm. I believe in the team."

But Violett must also be more stable defensively against Mur. In the last nine games, they have conceded 21 goals, the second most behind Hartberg (24).
