Pioneering project: Nockregion focuses on cooperation

The Nock region of Upper Carinthia and the Millstätter See, Bad Kleinkirchheim and Nockberge tourism association want to join forces to further develop the region. To this end, they have now moved into a new competence center in Radenthein.

The history of the Staberhof in Radenthein dates back to the 18th century, but now that it has been converted into a modern building complex, it is looking to the future. The Nockregion Oberkärnten, responsible for regional development, and the Millstätter See, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Nockberge tourism association are joining forces at the Staberhof.

"The new regional center will become an important engine for regional development and quality of life in rural areas," explained Deputy Provincial Governor Martin Gruber at the opening of the competence center. The two organizations will develop joint projects for the living space.

"As Provincial Governor, it makes me proud to see how the combined forces are working here to make the region more attractive as a living space for residents and as a vacation paradise for guests," said an enthusiastic LH Peter Kaiser.
