Which cancer therapy is best for me?
Every tumor is unique - and must be treated accordingly. Today, the dreaded "chemo" is used less frequently than ever before. Chemotherapy, surgery or radiotherapy are increasingly being combined with modern treatments, and sometimes they are no longer used at all. A team of doctors decides together with the patient what has the best chance of success.
"Which treatment is most likely to beat the cancer?" is a question many people ask themselves desperately after receiving a diagnosis. There is now a wide range of treatment options. A committee of specialists from various disciplines (tumor board) often decides how to treat the tumor. The latest methods are increasingly being used, as are the "classics".
