Party escalated: guests got into a fight

A private party in an apartment in Villach got completely out of hand on Saturday night: a total of three guests came to blows during an argument - and the police officers who had been alerted were also attacked. 

It was supposed to be an atmospheric party night - instead, two guests ended up in hospital and one man in handcuffs. The latter had apparently already had too much to drink that evening and finally began to unpleasantly harass his ex-girlfriend (18), in whose apartment in Villach the party was taking place.

Two other friends (aged 19 and 20) of the young woman didn't find this funny at all. The two intervened - and a wild argument broke out. In the end, fists flew between the three party guests. A short time later, the police, who had been alerted in the meantime, arrived and were also targeted by the drunk Slovenian.

Officers attacked
The 24-year-old behaved aggressively and even attacked the officers as a result. While his first two victims were taken to hospital with injuries, the main suspect was handcuffed and taken to the police detention center. Where the Slovenian finally confessed. And blamed his alcoholism. After questioning all the witnesses, there will probably be a series of charges.
