Richard Lugner is simply happy - as you can see from his wedding pictures, as he himself explains. Next to wife number 5, Cathy Lugner, he looked "like a beaten dog".

After saying yes to his Simone, Richard Lugner can't stop gushing about his newlywed wife, as he revealed in an interview with "Krone". Especially when he thinks about his last wedding ...

Richard Lugner has a lot of experience with marriage - he said yes for the sixth time on Saturday. The society builder knows for sure that Simone is the one. After all, he has plenty to compare her to.

Wedding number five with Cathy Lugner, "Spatzi" for short, probably comes to mind for Mörtel, as he mused in an interview with "Krone". 

At this wedding, only the bride smiled: Richard Lugner married ex-Playmate Cathy Schmitz in 2014.

"If you put the wedding pictures next to each other, you can see it straight away: with Cathy I looked like a beaten dog and with Simone I'm just happy," the 91-year-old opera ball zampano summed up when thinking about his ex-wife.

When he thinks back to saying "I do" to Cathy, he admits that he "lost interest after the engagement party", "but we went through with it".

"That was a sign!"
But he should have known better. Because: "I asked Gerda Rogers back then whether our horoscopes matched and she didn't call me back for two weeks. That was a sign!"

At his wedding to Simone, Mörtel couldn't stop beaming!

When the call finally came and Rogers explained that "nothing matches and we should leave it alone - but by then it was already too late ...", sighed Mörtel.

However, Mörtel is now really sure about his marriage to Simone, who has of course also been called Lugner since the wedding. So there should be no doubt that it will last longer than the last one - after just 809 days, Cathy and Richard Lugner filed for divorce in 2016.
