35 degrees are expected this week - and with the first heatwave of the year, there is an acute risk of sunburn! So please don't forget to apply sun cream. However, every year there are persistent myths about sun protection that you can safely forget. We reveal what they are.
For the sunscreen industry, things are going - pardon the pun - like clockwork. After a slump during the coronavirus years, business has picked up again dramatically. Over 3,000 creams and lotions are on sale worldwide, last year sun cream generated 14.26 million euros in Austria alone, this year it is expected to be more than 16 million euros. And that's a good thing in principle, because it means that people are taking care of their skin. But they should also do it properly.
