The case of Christa P.
“We believe our mom was murdered”
On Wednesday, the body of a woman who had been missing since the fall was found in Linz. In a "field grave". The woman's last companion has admitted to having buried her. After she is said to have died of a drug mix in his apartment. The victim's children doubt this version of the accident.
They seem distraught, shocked. "When we found out about our mom's death on Wednesday," sob Kimberly P. (25) and Michael A. (36), "a world collapsed for us." And as horrible as it was for them to know that their mother had been "disposed of like a piece of garbage ..."
The two siblings - the children of Christa P., the Linz woman who had been missing since October 13, 2013. The 54-year-old had spent the evening in a pub in her home town and had then taken a cab to another pub. To meet an acquaintance, Heinz S. (name changed).
He then took her to his apartment in the Ebelsberg district, the 43-year-old later stated during questioning. "She was already very tired," he testified, "so she lay down on my couch and fell asleep. And when I woke up at 7 a.m. the next morning, she was already gone."
Since then, there has been no trace of the Upper Austrian woman.
