Cage: Each of my three children has a different mother

Actor Nicolas Cage, who has just celebrated the premiere of their horror thriller "Longlegs" with US actress Maika Monroe in Los Angeles, is apparently thinking about his life. He certainly imagined his family differently. 

Because now he has three children from three different women. "Each of them has a different mother," the 60-year-old told the US magazine "The New Yorker".

Every child is different
"It's not what I originally envisioned when I fell in love or got married - that I would have three different children with three different mothers - but that's how it turned out." Each of his children is therefore different and they are "different experiences" for him.

The actor has two sons from previous relationships. His eldest son Westen Cage Coppola (33), from his partnership with actress Christina Fulton, has already given Cage two grandchildren. Westen made headlines in the spring for allegedly beating up his mother.

Married five times
The 18-year-old Kal-El Cage comes from Cage's marriage to Alice Kim, who divorced in 2016 after twelve years.

His first daughter, August Francesca Coppola Cage, was born in September 2022. The year before, the actor had married Japanese-born Riko Shibata. She has been his fifth wife since 2021.

He was also briefly married to make-up artist Erika Koike in 1990. In 2002, he became Lisa Marie Presley's third husband, but divorced after three months. He was married to the American actress Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001.

"Everything revolves around her"
In the meantime, however, his daughter is probably the most important thing in his life. As the father of a girl, he experiences "completely different levels of care and protection", Cage explained, comparing his role as August's father to breathing. "Everything revolves around her."
