Ex-ski star attracts attention at bar opening

Ex-ski star Alexandra Meissnitzer was beaming with the sun on Tuesday evening. She attended the opening of the new open-air bar at the Gwandhaus in a lemon yellow dirndl, including a traditional costume fashion show by Gössl. "I think it's okay to stand out and show your colors," says Meissnitzer. 

The topic of standing out or blending into the crowd will continue to occupy the ski ace in the coming weeks: The Salzburg Festival is coming up. Seeing and being seen will not only apply to the stars of the stage, but also to the illustrious audience.

The catwalk in front of the Gwandhaus, on the other hand, was in camouflage colors. "The models on the catwalk are already wearing our fall and winter collection," explains fashion boss Max Gössl. And because the new collection also has a hunting theme, colors such as moss green, reddish brown and fir green as well as natural materials such as silk, cotton and loden were of course a must.
