Laimer family announces “sweet news” on Instagram

ÖFB footballer Konrad Laimer and his wife Ines-Sarah have announced in an Instagram video that they are expecting a baby. This gives the Bayern professional an extra dose of motivation ahead of his return to team training. 

The Laimer family is growing! Ines-Sarah posted a video from her vacation on Instagram showing the ÖFB professional kneeling in front of her and kissing her stomach. The couple then hug and kiss. "Half of me, half of you," writes the mum-to-be. 

The Bayern player and his wife are delighted. The couple only got married a year ago and now the next big stage of their lives together awaits. The two have known each other since their school days.

Return to training is imminent
The congratulations from their followers are not long in coming. The couple can look forward to a lot of encouragement. After a difficult season with Bayern Munich and the exciting European Championships in Germany, the 27-year-old is currently enjoying some togetherness with his wife on vacation in Italy.

However, the midfielder will soon be returning to Bayern training. Some of his team-mates are already preparing with new coach Vincent Kompany to make up for the disgrace of not winning a title in the new season. The good news from the Laimer family will certainly give the ÖFB kicker additional motivation.
