Anastacia “acutely ill”: concerts canceled!

The American singer Anastacia (55, "I'm Outta Love") has canceled her concert in Freiburg planned for this evening and other appearances at short notice for health reasons. "I'm so sorry, but I can't perform at the Zelt-Musik-Festival in Freiburg tonight," explained the singer.

"I was advised by the doctors not to perform. I was so looking forward to the performance and hope that I can come back soon," she continued.

Anastacia announced on Instagram (see below) that she would not be able to perform as planned on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca on Tuesday.

Nature of illness not specified
The musician with the power voice also canceled a performance in Roses in Catalonia on Thursday. "I am so sorry." She had to recover, she wrote to explain. However, she did not give any details about her illness.

Her team is working on finding a new date. "Please keep your eyes open for news in the coming days. Sorry again and hope to see you all soon!" According to the organizers, all tickets remain valid.

Anastacia had only recently taken part in a farewell tour by Peter Maffay in Germany. The singer enjoyed great success in Europe, particularly in the 2000s, with hit singles such as "Paid My Dues" and "Sick And Tired". In the past, Anastacia suffered from serious illnesses, including breast cancer.
