Kit Harrington’s children should never watch “GoT”

Not only did his role as "John Snow" make him world-famous, he also met his future wife Rose Leslie on set. Although he owes so much to "Game of Thrones", Kit Harington has vowed to talk his children out of watching the series. 

He told "E!News": "I can absolutely guarantee that they will never want to watch the show later - most likely at least."

"Far too unpleasant"
Harington and Leslie's children are still far too young - their son is three years old, their daughter just 12 months - for the bloody fantasy epic.

But even later, the 37-year-old wants to prevent the kids from watching the sometimes violent love story of mom and dad on screen: "It would just be too uncomfortable for them." Not least because the parents also have a few sex scenes in the series.

Embarrassing dad?
Basically, Harington believes that his children will later see "my whole acting career" as embarrassing: "I can't imagine they'll like any movie I'm in. It will be really sad for me when I have to ask them: 'Look, I was in this movie 20 years ago!' And they'll just say 'Dad, no!"

Harrington and Leslie (37) got engaged in 2017 and married in June 2018 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The couple have not yet publicly announced the names of their children.
