Starting school: how your child learns much better

It's off to a new school year - for many parents with the hope that this year will be better than the last, for many children with the hope that it will at least pass quickly. Reason enough for us to find out what learning actually is, how it works best and what it takes.

We meet Prof. Jürgen Sandkühler at the WAC field hockey pitch in Vienna's Leopoldstadt district. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the kids are playing a tournament. And then suddenly - yes! Thomas has actually scored! A good example that shows how you can learn: He did it the way he saw the coach do it the day before.
