Debate ended with a dangerous threat

His sister's relationship caused a 26-year-old man's anger to escalate.

According to the victim, the accused is said to have threatened him several times to keep his hands off his sister, otherwise he would see. But the threatened man never pressed charges. "I know that he has already been convicted by the criminal court. In my eyes, he is unpredictable," the young man stated during the hearing at the Feldkirch Regional Court.

Nevertheless, the young man continues his relationship with the defendant's sister. Contrary to the girlfriend's warning to talk to his "big brother", the boyfriend tracked him down in a café in Lustenau on April 20.

When the friend confronts the 26-year-old, things escalate. "I'll stab you if you don't stay away from my sister," he threatens and grabs him by the throat. This time the victim presses charges. However, when questioned, the victim states that the death threat made by the accused was a "Turkish phrase".

Trial adjourned
Judge Verena Wackerle is all the more surprised by the victim's current attitude towards the accused. Another reason why the Ms. Rat ultimately decided to call further witnesses and postpone the trial until September. The victim's relationship status is also to be clarified then.
