Wild argument: Car demolished after overtaking maneuver

Perhaps the heat went to their heads: two men (41 and 43) acted like hooligans after an overtaking maneuver in Hellmonsödt (Upper Austria): One forced the other to stop, a car was demolished during the argument. Both parties were reported to the police.

You can only shake your head at such actions. The starting point on Thursday in Hellmonsödt was the overtaking maneuver of a 41-year-old driver from Oberneukirchen, who overtook a Slovakian (43) driving in front of him on Leonfeldner Straße. The latter accelerated, making it difficult for the driver, who was two years younger, to get back into the traffic.

Who wrecked the car?
The Slovakian then overtook and forced the 41-year-old to stop by switching on the hazard warning lights and then stopping directly in front of him. There are two different versions of what happened next.

The 43-year-old accuses his opponent of hitting the driver's door against the fender of his car several times, damaging it. The 41-year-old, on the other hand, claims that the Slovakian damaged his own fender when he aggressively ripped open the driver's door of the other car.

Several reports
After the wild argument, both drove to Hellmonsödt police station and filed charges. The opponents were both reported to the public prosecutor's office on suspicion of damage to property, coercion and making dangerous threats.
