20-year-old flashed at 133 km/h in a 70 km/h zone

This time, 133 did not refer to the police emergency call, but to the speed of a 20-year-old from St. Veit, who was flashed by a police patrol on a motorcycle at almost twice the speed limit. Other administrative offenses were also detected.

A police patrol of the LVA (Provincial Traffic Department), which preventively checked the speed of road users in the 70 km/h restriction on Hörzendorfer Straße, was able to record almost twice the speed of the 20-year-old from St. Veit. In the Hörzendorf area, the driver also disregarded the officers' signals to stop. In the course of a subsequent journey in the village, 44 km/h above this speed were also measured.

Crash through own fault
In St. Peter am Bichl, the motorcyclist crashed in a field through his own fault. However, the man remained uninjured. 
When the officers checked the 20-year-old, they discovered that he did not have a driving license. In addition, the motorcycle did not have a valid traffic license. The Carinthia Provincial Police Directorate filed multiple charges against the man with the St. Veit an der Glan District Court.
