On September 5, 2024, Vienna became a hotspot for green innovations. Over 1000 participants from business, politics and society came together at the third Green Peak Festival at Erste Campus. The focus was on the common will to make the world more sustainable.

International figures such as Ugandan Environment Minister Beatrice Atim Odwong, US Ambassador Victoria Reggie Kennedy and former German Vice Chancellor Philipp Rösler inspired the audience with their forward-looking ideas. Markus Rogan, world record swimmer and mental coach, also captivated the audience with his presentation on the topic of "Sustainable Mindset".

The future in young hands
The students' performance at the Next Gen Contest was particularly moving. They presented their projects and impressively demonstrated that the next generation is ready to take on responsibility.

The Green Peak Award, which was presented to the best green start-ups, also set an example of innovation and courage. Not only were prizes presented here, but stories were told - by founders who are brave enough to change the world. Their projects set new standards and show that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
