Suddenly passengers were bleeding from the mouth and ears!

After a bloody incident, a Boeing 737 passenger jet of the US airline Delta Air Lines had to return shortly after take-off in Salt Lake City (Utah). Due to problems with the cabin pressure, several passengers began to bleed from the mouth and ears.

Those affected later told the US media that they had suddenly experienced insane pain in their ears. "It was like someone was stabbing my ear with a knife," Jaci Purser recalled. She covered her ears and when she removed her hands, they were bloody.

Purser was not the only one on board Flight 1203, which was supposed to fly from Salt Lake City to Portland (Oregeon) on Sunday. A total of ten people were reported by the rescue services after the incident. Although they are likely to have suffered only minor injuries, they were extremely painful.

Airline apologizes to passengers
"We sincerely apologize for what happened on board Flight 1203. The crew followed protocol in such cases and returned to Salt Lake City. There, the ground crew took care of those affected," a Delta spokesperson told CNN.

Technicians have already rectified the fault in the aircraft's pressurization system. According to the information provided, it is back in service. The FAA is investigating the incident.
