Transformation professionals turned the party king into a monster

When Swiss event organizer Reto Hanselmann calls for a Halloween party, celebrities turn up in droves. The two Lower Austrians Birgit Mörtl and Alexandra Weyrer created the host's spooky outfit - and thus the special highlight of the evening.

Boris Becker's daughter Anna Ermakova, presenter Sonya Kraus and actress Ruth Moschner: celebrities from several countries came to Zurich to take part in Switzerland's most spectacular Halloween event, the "Season of the Witch". Party king Reto Hanselmann was the center of attention. Not just because he hosted the costume party. But above all because of his outfit, which stood out from the many elaborate costumes worn by the guests.

Much to the delight of Alexandra Weyrer and Birgit Mörtl, because the make-up artist from Oberwölbling in the St. Pölten district and the designer from Kronberg in the Mistelbach district transformed Hanselmann into the leader of the undead. "Reto had seen some of my masks on Instagram that I had designed in Los Angeles and asked me if I would like to do the make-up this year," explains Weyrer. She immediately realized that an impressive mask was not enough and that a suitable costume was also needed. She then contacted costume professional Mörtl.

The two artists realized the project in collaboration with Hanselmann using all their creativity and skills. Much of the costume was made at home, but the Swiss man still spent eight hours in make-up. "The two have proven that they are not only masters of their craft, but can also create true artistic figures," the Lower Austrians were praised.
