Robbery victim from Bregenz was a drug dealer

The incident took place in the lakeside facilities in Bregenz.

The 19-year-old who was robbed of his cell phone on Thursday by an Italian man (20) before he threatened him with a knife knew each other, as the police reported on Friday. One was a dealer, the other his customer. 

A turnaround in the case of the robbery that took place on the shores of Lake Constance in Bregenz on Thursday. As reported, a 19-year-old Austrian was robbed of his cell phone. When the victim chased after the perpetrator, the latter pulled out a knife and stabbed him at least once.

Arrested by means of a manhunt
Fortunately, he only caught the 19-year-old's outer clothing with the weapon and he was not injured. The alleged stranger fled again, but was arrested a few hours later in the course of a police manhunt. The man was a 20-year-old Italian. 

Argument and robbery of the cell phone
As it turned out, the perpetrator and victim were not known to each other as originally assumed. The 20-year-old offender wanted to buy drugs from the 19-year-old. However, when the latter did not hand any over, an argument ensued and the cell phone was stolen. 

The extent to which the robbery victim was involved in drug dealing is still being investigated by the police. The 20-year-old suspect has since been taken to Feldkirch prison.
