SPÖ relies fully on Hans Peter Doskozil in the finale

The state governor is presented as a "Burgenlander like us". He does not do politics for individual citizens, but for everyone. The goal of the provincial SPÖ: at least 18 seats. However, there is no SPÖ logo on the poster series.

The SPÖ presented its second wave of posters for the intensive phase of the election campaign. Top candidate Hans Peter Doskozil is advertised on the subject as "Burgenländer wie wir" (Burgenlanders like us). A smaller poster also reads "Dosko always at your side".

Politics for everyone
According to regional manager Jasmin Puchwein, the first wave of posters highlighted what has already been achieved in the state. Now it is important to emphasize that the governor is making policy for everyone and not just for individual clientele.

While the ÖVP and FPÖ were against everything in principle, Doskozil would stand for "stability and progress". "This is not the time for experiments," said Puchwein.

From hospitals to finances
At the poster presentation, Doskozil himself looked back on the past five years of the red state government, during which the corona crisis and high energy prices had to be managed. He referred to the "full staffing" in the hospitals, the care model and "stable finances".

"In my view, we have managed the five years very well, if not excellently," said the governor. The goal is at least 18 mandates; the SPÖ currently holds 19. Doskozil has no preferences for a possible coalition partner: "I don't shy away from anyone."
