Carnival: These punchlines are “Lei Gleich” again

The Feistritz Carnival Council impresses this year with a particularly varied program - for both children and adults. And this time the boundaries are even blurred.

Political carnival cabaret is not on the Feistritz jesters' list of priorities this year. "We have once again put together a variety of speech and dance numbers for our audience," reveals Martin Taxer, Chancellor of the Feistritz Carnival Council.

And after the first sessions, it is already clear that the audience can look forward to a firework display of punchlines. Because "Chantal" Claudia Engelmeier or the congenial father-son duo (Udo and Max Ebner) will get the hall shaking. The number ABBA-Nation also invites you to sing and dance along.

Even a number from the children's carnival program has made it into the adult program. Taxer: "Our Deputy Mayor Dieter Nagelschmied organizes the children's carnival. We were so enthusiastic about one number that we had to adopt it for the adults and bring Nagelschmied on stage."

And because the deputy mayor is also rehearsing for the next theater performance, the number was scheduled towards the end - so that he could make it on stage in time. A special honor awaits the jesters in the coming carnival season. "We will be the next Carinthian carnival prince and princess," reports Taxer.
