Unforgettable moments even before the race starts

Once again this year, the "Krone" raffled off 10x2 tickets for each race day in Kitz. The lucky winners also received entry to the "Krone" World Cup House - breakfast, lunch and great encounters included. 

There were plenty of beaming winners in Kitzbühel on Friday, even away from the Streif - all it took was a trip to the "Krone" World Cup House right on the fan mile in the town center. In a cozy wooden hut style, it offers a welcome opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

"I haven't been able to sleep since I found out about the win," reveals Manuela Riml. Good thing there was also coffee for her and her husband Walter at the Krone.(Bild: Markus Wenzel)

Toni and Karin Rieder from Wörgl had wanted to win for a long time, and on Friday they were finally invited to the "Krone" Super-G. "We were really delighted," beamed Karin as she greeted them.(Bild: Markus Wenzel)

Manfred and Margarete Happacher from Tarrenz were experiencing the Hahnenkamm race for the first time. He was looking forward to the racers, she was looking forward to the atmosphere.(Bild: Markus Wenzel)

This was also the experience of 20 lucky people who won tickets for the race and entry to the "Krone" house in the "Krone" competition. They fortified themselves with a sumptuous breakfast buffet before the race and then returned for lunch before many of them went into town.
