Final spurt for the semester break: What’s on the program

At IKONO in Mariahilfer Straße, there are exciting things to discover on two floors and in 12 rooms: from the balloon room to the ball pool, there are no limits to creativity.

The break will soon be over. From the shimmering balloon room to the jumping spider - where you can still recharge your batteries and creativity for the new semester. We have the addresses.

As the semester break slowly draws to a close, we give you tips on how to make the most of the last few days:

• IKONO: It's not always easy to find leisure activities that every member of the family will enjoy. At IKONO, however, parents and children alike can immerse themselves in a magical world that combines play, fun and imagination. From the shimmering balloon room to experiences that bring the world to life through the eyes of a child, each of the 12 rooms is creatively designed and aims to strengthen the bond between generations.

• House of the Sea: a classic that always makes children's eyes light up. A new discovery is the jumping spider of the species Phidippus regius. And there are also special guided tours for Valentine's Day next Friday.

• Technical Museum: If you fancy some exciting experiments during the semester break, you should visit the Vienna Technical Museum. There are not only historic steam locomotives, airplanes and robots to marvel at, but also numerous interactive stations.

• Pompeii exhibition: The exhibition in the Marx Halle, which allows visitors to relive the fall of the ancient city, is still running until Sunday.
