Tom Cruise: Excitement about bloated face

Megastar Tom Cruise attended a baseball game in San Francisco with his son Connor. A photo and, in particular, a video of the actor taken at the game are now causing numerous worried tweets from his fans on social media because the star's face looks very puffy in the footage. 

The 59-year-old actor attended the San Francisco Giants' game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Oracle Park in San Francisco on Saturday. Sitting next to him was his 26-year-old adopted son Connor. As a video circulating on Twitter shows, both were in a good mood and enthusiastic about the game.

But what stood out was that the actor looked different. His cheeks in particular seemed to be really puffy. "What happened to the face?" asked more than one person on the social media service Twitter.

While some are now wildly speculating about a failed beauty operation, botched injections or simply a small weight gain, others are defending the star and attributing the change to his age. After all, the "Mission: Impossible" warhorse will be celebrating his 60th birthday next summer.

Tom Cruise is considered one of the most successful and hard-working Hollywood stars. He is currently filming the eighth part of his hit film series "Mission: Impossible". The seventh part is due to be released in cinemas in 2022. The premiere of the remake of his 1986 blockbuster "Top Gun" has also been postponed to 2022. The film should have been released in 2020 and will now be released in May 2022.
