“Mothl”, Strobl and co. challenged in Saalbach

Although there was no World Cup race on the program in Saalbach on Monday, it was still spectacular. A whole host of Olympic champions, world champions and other illustrious guests were ready to throw themselves down the slopes for a good cause. 

At the "Krone Charity Race" presented by Mastercard in aid of Sporthilfe Österreich, every hundredth of a second was at stake.

Former ski stars Matthias "Mothl" Mayer, Fritz Strobl, Marlies Raich and Michela Kirchgasser were among those at the start, as well as our summer Olympic heroes Valentin Bontus and Lara Vadlau and former ÖFB team player Michael Konsel. In the end, an impressive sum was raised for a good cause.
