Amanda Seyfried felt compelled to do nude scenes

Amanda Seyfried landed her first Hollywood roles at the tender age of 15. But as proud as the actress is of her career, there is one thing she deeply regrets: that she shot nude scenes as a young star. The reason for this, however, was that she thought she was under pressure, explained the now 36-year-old in an interview with the online magazine "Porter".  

Amanda Seyfried told the magazine that as a young actress she was convinced that she would lose her job if she didn't do what was asked of her, even if she didn't feel completely comfortable. "I was 19 and walking around without my underwear and I was like, 'Are you kidding me? How did I let this happen?' Oh, I know why: I was 19 and I didn't want to upset anyone and I wanted to keep my job. That's why," she explained in the interview.

"I am unbreakable"
Nevertheless, she survived this time quite unscathed, Seyfried continued. She now even feels indestructible - at least as far as her career is concerned. "Nothing can completely crush me when it comes to work. I am unbreakable! Not one thing can break my life, unless it has to do with my family."

She continues: "Obviously being a parent changes your perspective on things, but it's not just that. It eventually gets to the point where it's okay to be proud of your work. It's okay to be proud, it's okay to have confidence - it's really, really important."

Seyfried played her way into the hearts of fans with her role in the "Mamma Mia!" flicks, among others. This year, the Hollywood beauty was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars for her role in "Mank", but was ultimately beaten by Ariana DeBose.
